This ongoing, process-oriented therapy group is designed for men who are interested in deeper, longer-term personal growth within a supportive and consistent group setting. Unlike a structured curriculum or time-limited workshop, this group meets biweekly and evolves organically based on the needs, experiences, and relationships that emerge within the group over time.
The Therapeutic Men’s Group is facilitated by Peter Heatley, MHC-LP, a staff Psychotherapist at Wellness Embodied. The group emphasizes relational process, emotional awareness, authenticity, and meaningful connection, offering men the opportunity to explore patterns in relationships, identity, values, and inner experience in real time with others.
This group is best suited for men who have some prior experience with men’s groups or group therapy and who are able to commit to attending biweekly sessions on an ongoing basis.
Testimonials from group participants:
“The group was invaluable in helping me connect more deeply with my emotions through the bonds formed with other men. It gave me insight and language around long-held challenges and helped move my relationships forward.”
“This men’s group became an important and grounding part of my life in a short period of time…, was thoughtfully facilitated and created real space for connection, reflection, and growth.”
“This group offered a space… where men can openly examine expectations around masculinity… in a way that was respectful, engaging, and genuinely supportive.”
“Peter created a group that felt safe, well-held, and meaningful. The materials, discussions, and feedback helped me reflect in ways that would have taken much longer on my own.”
