ISAAC TROPP
MSW in progress, Psychotherapist in training
Isaac is currently a second year Master’s of Social Work student at Yeshiva University. Isaac creates a safe space through non-judgment and compassionate curiosity for each person’s unique life experience. Inspired by neuroscience and somatic therapy, Isaac encourages clients to slow down and tune into their inner experiences and feelings to integrate both the mind and the body.
Isaac is an experienced wilderness therapy guide and has supported many adolescents and young adults by teaching them survival skills and mentoring them as they achieved their therapeutic goals. Drawing on his time as a wilderness guide, ski instructor and farmer, Isaac incorporates nature into his work with clients whenever possible.
Isaac has also co-led therapeutic masculinity groups, creating a necessary space for men to be vulnerable and believes in the spiritual and psychological healing power of connection. Isaac also brings experience working with veteran caregivers across the age spectrum and understands the challenges of full-time caregiving and the importance of having a strong support system.
Isaac looks forward to working together with you
